NYOB ZOO CHRISTMAS

DECEMBER 18, 2017

Hello everyone! Sorry it has been a minute, but I'm still alive and preaching the gospel! Definitely have seen some miracles as I've been serving, even though we haven't been able to baptize anyone. The Hmong family we're working with won't be able to be baptized anytime soon because the dad's dad wants them to stay Old Culture until he dies... so that is kinda sad, but they are still progressing and preparing and praying, and it is amazing to see the positive impact it has had!

In other news, I still don't really know Hmong. I'm getting kinda good at pretending like I know what people are talking about, but as soon as they ask a question it's tough, haha. But I've come a long way from the MTC, so constantly improving!

I finished training this past week, and transfers are tomorrow, but I'm staying in Wheatland with my trainer. There are only 2 areas that Hmong elders can go to, so we will probably be companions here together for a good little while, hahaha. The Hmong branch is awesome though, they feed us lots of good food and take real good care of us.

With Christmas coming up, I want to invite everyone to remember why we have Christmas!! What better time to remember our Savior and everything that he did and continues to do for us than this season!!
I love Christ, and I love being a missionary! Happy Holidays!
